Welcome to Bansin

The seaside health resort of Bansin is surrounded by lots of water and forest. In the north the Baltic Sea, in the east the Schloonsee and in the west an extensive mixed beech forest, the smallest and youngest of the three imperial baths is idyllically embedded. The first bathers were not welcomed here until 1897. Right from the start, Bansin was designed as a seaside resort, and that with care, because the villas on Bergstraße were built in gaps so that the residents in the second row could also enjoy the sea view.

Even today, the villas from the late 19th and early 20th centuries determine the townscape and that of the promenade. Whether made of stone or wood, these houses have a soul and their splendor attracts thousands of tourists every year.

Bansin was also the home of Hans Werner Richter. The writer made a name for himself as the founder of “Group 47”. A museum is dedicated to the man of letters buried in the seaside resort, the Hans Werner Richter House in the former fire station on Waldstrasse. The literature days of the same name also take place here.

Parking in Bansin

In the Imperial Baths there is a well-developed parking guidance system for all larger public parking lots. So day guests with the PARCO app find free parking spaces in Bansin, because the parking situation in the seaside resort is similar to that in big cities. The benefit of PARCO app is that you can book the parking ticket directly via the app, without changing and queuing at the machine. The hosts in Bansin often have their own parking spaces or underground garages.

The maximum parking time is often limited in car parks right in the center of Bansin. As a visitor, make way for the large parking lots in the Parking garage at the Seepark, the Parking at the Schloonsee or the Parking areas in Fischerweg Bansin .
