In the small building with the red double doors, the estate of Bansin's famous son awaits you: Hans Werner Richter - author, writer, resistance fighter, presenter, Initiator and leader of the famous elite writers' association “Group 47”. Take a look at Carola Stern's specialist library or Hans Werner Richter's study, marvel at the countless, diverse pictures that the Richter family collected or the originals by Günter Grass. Would you like to travel back in time to the literature of the post-war period? Visit the former red fire station, which is now dedicated to Hans Werner Richter, Carola Stern and the 47 group. From February 1st to May 31st you will also find a new exhibition about Group 47 here. Faces and the associated stories, which were presented next to Richter, sometimes in the hot seat, can be read and delved into here. At the opening there was only the writer's study in the original. Little by little, Toni Richter filled all the rooms with life. The study, completed before 2000, comes from Munich - the Richters' main residence. There are a few postcards from Bansin, his homeland, on his desk - above them is the typewriter - it's as if you could hear the rattling and Richter would come back to his desk at any moment to receive the invitations to the "Group 47" that are so coveted in the literary world “Send meetings.
