The seaside resort of Heringsdorf is celebrating its 205th anniversary with a variety of special events.
The kick-off was the 20th International Imperial Baths Plein Air from 11 to 18 May at the Villa Irmgard Museum. Since June, an open-air exhibition in the Buchenpark has been presenting the interesting history of Heringsdorf on 6 large panels. The highlight is the Heringsdorf's Glory Times from July 31.07 to August 03.08, which invites you on a journey back in time to 1820 with traditional crafts, historical tours and interactive programs, bringing history to life.

Digital advice tables, touch monitors for self-information and panorama screens with Baltic Sea moods are spread loosely in the spacious, over 500 square meter rooms of the most modern tourist information in the Baltic Sea region.
With a library (excellent selection of local literature), children's reading room, fireplace corner and a walk-in historic vault, the tourism service center at Delbrückstraße 69 in Heringsdorf is a small sight in itself.
