Welcome to the Tourism Service Center
The Tourism Service Center is not just a tourist information center in Heringsdorf. It combines the history of the place with the modernity of the digital age. Interactive boards, VR glasses and films or relaxed reading in the library offer a unique variety for every taste. The experience is rounded off by light-flooded architecture with a discreetly designed interior. There are also some art installations that reflect the cultural aspect of the imperial spas.
Service
In addition to all the usual tourist information services, such as issuing the UsedomCard, providing advice on questions and problems, and giving directions and having a nice chat, you can also find the best event tips, tickets and information on unknown offers. Events such as local tours, geocaching and some tours use the Tourist Service Center as a safe meeting point for a variety of excursions through the Kaiserbäder or beyond. The building also houses a library with over 10.000 copies, which has something to suit every reading taste and offers a particularly extensive range of regional literature.
Accessibility
Extremely modern and accessible to everyone. When the building was constructed, special emphasis was placed on accessibility. All rooms, with one exception, are fully accessible by wheelchair. For people with walking difficulties and wheelchair users who would not be able to climb the stairs, there is a carefully constructed lift that makes overcoming the height differences easy.
i-Marke
The Tourism Service Center has once again been awarded the i-brand by the German Tourism Association. It stands for excellent accessibility and digitization in conjunction with outstanding service. It also recognizes the outstanding quality of its appearance and range of services. Of all German tourist information centers, just over 700 have been awarded the i-brand.
Library
The modern library in Heringsdorf is an oasis for bookworms and offers more than 10.000 books for all age groups. The attractively designed area with many regional books invites you to browse and discover. The colorful area with child-friendly furniture is a particular highlight for children. Here the little ones will find exciting stories, fantasy novels and picture books. For adults and young people there is an extensive collection of non-fiction and fiction that covers a wide range of interests.
With a valid Usedom Card you can borrow books for your stay in the Kaiserbäder.
