Event highlights 2026

Anniversary: 10 years of Baltic Lights

From March 06th to 08th, 2026, the imperial spa towns of the Baltic Sea island of Usedom will once again be transformed into the backdrop for one of the most exciting events of the year: Baltic Lights! International sled dog teams and celebrity guests will gather on the Baltic Sea beach to compete in thrilling races for a good cause. Over 500 huskies, popular TV stars, and more than 60.000 spectators will make this event a special highlight in the northern events calendar.

International Day of Forests

Approximately 30% of the Earth's surface is covered by forest. Forests provide a wide variety of services: they supply the raw material wood, filter water, protect against natural hazards, clean the air, serve as habitats, offer green spaces for recreation and relaxation, and are an important food source – fruits, mushrooms, seeds, and game are all provided by forests.

Furthermore, old trees are silent witnesses to history. They convey a piece of local history in a special way.

Together we hike through the forest with district forester Sven Prabel, learn about native trees, plants and animals and find out how the forest is used as a "green pharmacy by the sea".

Bansin Easter Island

The Bansin Easter Islands are an Easter festival on the promenade and on the beach with various stations, such as a games island, a show island and others.

For the fifth time, the beach and promenade of Bansin will be transformed into a gaming paradise for all ages over Easter. Spread across several themed areas, the hottest game publishers will present their latest releases.

In the unique atmosphere of the Baltic Sea beach, visitors can immerse themselves in a colorful world of games and escape the stresses of everyday life. Whether it's creative wooden games, dexterity games, or logic games for quick thinkers, spontaneous participation is encouraged, and above all, a gaming frenzy is guaranteed for young and old alike.

Imperial baths heyday

The season kicks off with a colorful spring market. This year's highlight: all three imperial spa towns—Ahlbeck, Heringsdorf, and Bansin—invite you to kick off the 2026 market season on the promenade near the concert venues. Regional offerings, meticulously crafted arts and crafts, along with themed garden and decorative items, will whet your appetite for the warmer season.

International Arbor Day

“The gentle medicine of trees”

Experience day in the Heringsdorf Forest from morning yoga meditation, a humorous forest therapy hike, the forester encounter, puppet theater with the forest spirit to the evening health hike.

7 Painting by the Sea

Sunshine, blue skies, bathers, the sound of the sea and a unique cultural landscape, characterized by its special spa architecture and in between since 20 Years, plein air artists on the promenade, on the beachd or in town of Heringsdorf, equipped with painting supplies, bicycle and sun protection. Children's, club and senior citizens' festival

We welcome all children, parents and grandparents with a colorful and varied program with lots of music, interesting shows and presentations, face painting, games together and sporting activities at the Heringsdorf event site right next to the pier. This year we are calling for the children's flea market again. Many clubs and institutions in the Ostseebad Heringsdorf community are involved in the success of the festival.

Grand Schlemm 2025

Experience the exclusive culinary masterpieces of the best chefs in Ahlbeck, Heringsdorf and Bansin. Enjoy a variety of flavors at 10 stops along the picturesque coast of the imperial spas, rounded off with the finest wines from German and Austrian winemakers.

International cabaret festival

Every year the promenade around the Heringsdorf pier on the sunny island of Usedom becomes a meeting place for artists from all over the world. Every Pentecost, artists and artist groups from different countries visit the island, face the keen eyes of the expert and student jury and make the hearts of our guests beat faster again. We hope that you feel comfortable during these four days at the only festival of its kind on the island of Usedom. Since the artists who have traveled far and wide perform for us without a fee, their hats should not remain empty.

Since the first festival in 1, around 2000 artists have taken part in the International Cabaret Festival on the island of Usedom.

Variety show by the sea

It has become a beautiful tradition for selected participants of the International Cabaret Festival to create a top-class gala program together with a renowned emcee. We are particularly pleased that the master magician Matthias Rauch is taking over the moderation for our variety show this year. Experience exquisite acrobatics, eloquent comedy, tricky juggling and magic. This program has been arranged especially for the cabaret festival and will not be repeated at any other location.

Public viewing of the 2026 Soccer World Cup

Welcome to the 2026 FIFA World Cup – experience the magic of football, support the German national team, enjoy time with family and friends, with your feet in the sand and selected World Cup football matches live on the large LED screen to follow in the middle of the Baltic Sea. For many, public viewing on the beach in Heringsdorf is more than just watching a match. It's a fantastic event that brings the community together and creates unforgettable memories. This special combination of football and beach makes the experience unique. The World Cup on the LED screen, set up in the middle of the Baltic Sea, offers an impressive football atmosphere. The atmosphere is electric when goals are scored or exciting moments keep the audience on the edge of their seats. The laughter, the shouts, and the emotions blend with the sound of the Baltic Sea as the sun slowly sinks below the horizon, painting the sky in a kaleidoscope of colors.

Look forward to the jazz festival with top-class guests and a unique flair. The music goes straight into the body, moves the hips and legs, it creates lightness and makes you happy.

Imperial baths sports beach

On, on, in the water - the sports beach of the Kaiserbades offers the right program and the right course for beginners or professionals and for tension or relaxation: Whether volleyballs over nets, enjoying yoga in the beach sand or with the stand-up board towards the sunrise paddle.
If lounging on the fine sand is not enough for you, you can work up a sweat on the sports beach. Anyone who wants to keep fit while on vacation or who enjoys playing games together can really step on the gas here. It doesn't matter whether you like chasing balls, want to start the day with a relaxed early morning exercise session or on the Baltic Sea with sunrise stand-up paddling - there are plenty of opportunities to be active in sports on the sports beach of the imperial baths.

Beach soccer, volleyball, beach tennis or gymnastics have one thing in common here - the fine, white beach under your feet and the steady, rushing waves in your ears.

Midsummer party in the park

Be inspired by design, creative workshops or create your own holiday memories. Being curious and awakening new interests is possible during the two days in Goethepark.

Summer cinema Heringsdorf

Due to technical problems with the LED screen required to display the films, the summer cinema is on a forced hiatus. The technical company responsible for the installation has not yet provided any information on the progress of the repairs, and there is no date yet for when films can be shown again.

Tickets already booked for cancelled screenings will be refunded no later than the day of the screening.

Cinema with your feet in the sand right by the sea. You can enjoy children's and family films, blockbusters and classic films on the large LED video wall. In beach chairs or snuggled up in warm blankets on a deck chair, you can experience cinema in a different way on the beach.

UseTube26

Newcomer concerts for discoverers of new music, far away from the chart-oriented radio mainstream. Look forward to cool live music on UseTube26 on three evenings, on the stylish concert stage with a sun-drenched beach promenade.

Play beach "Play(t) room by the sea"

"Playroom by the Sea" – that's the motto of our play beach. Unusual large-scale games and skill games, fascinating puzzles, unusual creative activities, and captivating team experiments are available to try out free of charge on the beach (Thursday to Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m.) in July and August.

The latest board games can be tested in the games tent.

In addition, the "creative studio" offers the opportunity for small handicrafts.

Imperial Baths Beach Tennis Tour

Beach Tennis is an action-packed mix of Tennis, beach volleyball and badminton – with spectacular rallies, athletic jumps, and rousing music on the beach. Admission is free. Come along, join in, or simply enjoy the summer atmosphere at Ahlbeck's sports beach.

80 Years of Bikinis

A garment that, at the time of its presentation, completely revolutionized people's moral values after World War II, set a precedent for women's self-determination, and also represented a link between newly awakened consumerism and communication. And we want to celebrate this anniversary as a major Usedom project with all residents and guests.

Bansin pier festival

The pier festival, maritime and colorful, is one of the cultural highlights of the summer in the seaside resort of Bansin. Look forward to a small, fine shopping mile and a sparklingly lively and eventful program, including a hilarious lifeguard from a bygone era, a traditional maritime shanty choir, charming cabaret with "outstanding" walk-through acts, hands-on activities for our little ones, and the unforgettable live concert experience every night with top-notch bands. Come stroll, linger, and unwind as the impressive lighting, visible from afar, illuminates the beloved pier in magnificent light every evening. A brilliant fireworks display over the sea will illuminate Saturday night with magical pyrotechnics.

Silent disco

Dancing through the summer night with headphones in the open air on the beach - at this extraordinary dance event, three DJs simultaneously inspire their audience via headphones with different and selectable music styles. From party music, hits and charts to the 90s, electro, rock, hip-hop and alternative music, there is something for every musical taste. A party where people dance wildly but apparently silently and outsiders are amused by the bizarre sight.

Glow Volleyball Tournament

The beach glows in neon colors under black light, glowing volleyballs are smashed over the net, players are covered in neon make-up. The beach in Ahlbeck will shine brightly again, then you can splash, dredge and dance again.

Sandpiper barefoot concerts

Feet in the sand, the Baltic Sea waves in sight and your favorite song in your ear, played live and directly on the beach at a barefoot concert while the sun slowly sets behind the dunes. It is precisely these moments that creep into your feel-good memory and stay with you.

Ahlbeck Summer Festival

Against the historical backdrop of the oldest pier in Germany, we welcome you to another cultural highlight in the imperial baths - the Ahlbeck Summer Festival. Look forward to a colorful program for young and old, unique musical performances and a few surprises.

During the four days, the Ahlbeck summer festival attracts visitors with its colorful market and all kinds of arts and crafts stands. Browsing through the stands, there is sure to be something for one or the other.

To strengthen yourself you will find numerous gastronomy stands with a wide range of offers.

Fun and action on the bumper cars and breathtaking views from the Ferris wheel await you, as do wonderful walk-through acts on the promenade and live music on the concert stage in the evenings. Ahlbeck's summer highlight.

Heringsdorf's Glory Times

Come along on a short journey through time along the historic promenade and immerse yourself in the past with its distinctive details that have shaped Heringsdorf throughout its history.

With a diverse and varied program, the area around the modern bandstand and the magnificent promenade, featuring a colorful array of vendors and restaurants, will be bustling with activity for four days, from July 30th to August 2nd, 2026. The full program will be available here shortly.

Water sports day

Try out the water sports on offer at the Kaiserbäder sports beach for a whole day for free. From exciting volleyball and football tournaments in the water to relaxing trips in a stand-up paddle boat and other exciting activities on and in the water.

KAISERBÄDER SUMMER OPEN AIR - STAHLZEIT

Come, see, feel, and hear! Nowhere else can you experience the spirit of RAMMSTEIN as closely as at STAHLZEIT.
STAHLZEIT lives and breathes to the rhythm of its brutal musical heartbeat. An insatiable urge to create new dimensions on stage, flirting with the boundaries of the imaginable, flows through their veins. Ahlbeck Christmas market

On the 1st weekend in Advent, the Imperial Baths Christmas market on the Ahlbeck concert square gets you in the mood for the Christmas season in a contemplative atmosphere. The smell of mulled wine, bratwurst, cookies, roasted almonds and candied apples is in the Baltic Sea air and invites you to linger. Atmospheric music sounds around the Christmas season and at the end of each evening, a mulled wine party and mood music under the Christmas tree invite you to spend the Kaiserbad Christmas market in good company.

Bansin Christmas market

It's very Christmassy in the Kaiserbad Bansin - a small, regional market invites you to the promenade on the third weekend of Advent. Artisans, local traders and local associations would like to show together what Usedom and the surrounding area have to offer. Handmade gift ideas, jewelry made of amber and sea glass, sustainable wood products, knitwear and textiles as well as organic products from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania not only have the right thing for festive occasions. True to the motto “from here, for here”, there is nothing missing in terms of cuisine: regional game meat, hot drinks and spirits made from products from the island of Usedom, vegetarian offerings and sweet delicacies that are traditionally part of every Christmas market.
