Dog friendly beaches | Furry friends can play, swim and laze around to their heart's content on the four dog beaches in the Imperial Baths. Beach section 1/E in Ahlbeck, beach section 2/Y in Heringsdorf and beach section 3/L in Bansin are dog-friendly.
Dog-Friendly Game Rules | To ensure that people and dogs get along well together, there are a few rules that both furry friends and owners must follow in the Imperial Spas. Out of consideration for all guests and to protect our unique nature, there is not only an obligation in the imperial baths to leash your four-legged friend, but also to remove his legacies. Dog bags are available free of charge in the tourist information offices and in the public toilets.
Whether strolling through forests and meadows, frolicking on the endless sandy beach or swimming in the shallow surf of the Baltic Sea - man's best friend feels right at home in the imperial baths. Dog beach seasons
Low season | Beginning of October to end of April
During the low season, all beach accesses are also accessible to your dog. However, it is important to be considerate of people and other animals and to always keep your dog on a leash. Never leave your dog unattended on the beach and make sure he is available at all times.
Peak season | Beginning of May to end of September
Between 08:00 a.m. and 20:00 p.m., only the paths to the dog beach may be used as access to the beach and dogs are only allowed to stay there. From 20:00 p.m. to 08:00 a.m., you are allowed to visit all areas of the beach with your dog. Please also keep your dog on a leash between the beach chairs, as the view of new beach visitors may be restricted.
