Discover the History of the Kaiserbäder
The Kaiserbäder—Ahlbeck, Heringsdorf, and Bansin—can look back on a fascinating and eventful history. At least since the so-called “Imperial Era” beginning in 1871, Heringsdorf and Ahlbeck—and, starting in 1897, Bansin as well—have been pioneers in the development of modern seaside resorts. This rise was made possible by outstanding figures who had a significant influence on the cultural life of the three seaside resorts. The beautiful location and the cohesive architectural style continue to exert a great appeal to this day.
