Music from the north, Low German songs and entertainment with humor and charm.
Finally “Land in sight,” Dietmar Schmidt and Martin Korn from “Duo Ossenkopp” sing when they return home after their concerts. The two are popular and have been doing a lot as a duo since 1992 to ensure that the Low German language is not forgotten. Dietmar Schmidt, a native of the beautiful island of Usedom, and Martin Korn, a native of Wismar, also live on stage the connection from Pomerania to Mecklenburg or exactly the other way around. They maintain old Low German songs and of course also use many of their own texts for their programs. In it they talk, among other things, about their childhood, about the “Grotmudder”, where there was Tollatsch and Klüddersupp, and make some entertaining “sayings” that make us smile.
