Velvet Cats

With popular hits from six decades, the Velvet Cats and their charming lead singer Melanie Knebel present themselves to an enthusiastic audience again and again. In the style of the 50s, played on appropriate instruments (vocals, double bass, saxophone, guitar, accordion, drums), the five-member band of trained musicians ensures a good atmosphere.

Dressed in matching outfits—petticoats and leather jackets, of course—everything is performed live. Playback and semi-playback are foreign concepts to the Velvet Cats.
