“History of the Beach: It wasn't until the town was founded in 1897 that the beach gained its significance. It became a bathing beach. Its history can be divided into three periods. The first period was that of bathing establishments, the second was that of open-air bathing, and the third was that of mixed nude and open-air bathing.
