With the program "From the Egerland to the Baltic Sea coast," the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern State Police Orchestra presents a concert entirely dedicated to traditional brass band music. Resonant, robust, and performed with great passion, the musicians take their audience on a musical journey through the soundscapes of Bohemia and Moravia, all the way to the North German coast.
Fans of traditional brass band music can look forward to familiar and beloved pieces: "Bohemian Love" features heartfelt melodies full of warmth and expression, while "Moravian Fire" adds spirited accents. "Servus Tirol" brings Alpine joie de vivre to the stage, and "Rustling Birches" and "Sun Greetings" offer beautifully melodic tunes.
Of course, true classics like "Auf der Vogelwiese" or the rousing "Fliegermarsch" and many more are included – pieces that connect generations and to which the audience happily claps or hums along. Distinctive brass sections, powerful registers, and a balanced overall sound showcase the full spectrum of traditional brass band music – from rousing marches to soulful polkas. A program for everyone who appreciates handcrafted brass band music and wants to experience a concert that also encourages dancing.
