Punch wants to take the children to the princess's birthday party. He has a birthday present with him, of course, but realizes he's forgotten the flowers. He asks the children to look after the present. Meanwhile, the robber comes along, discovers the present, and takes it. Punch returns, and the children tell him what happened. Everyone is sad and resolves to get the present back. They lock the robber up, because even the children know: "Stealing – that's not allowed!"
