Munich, 1810: After the death of their beloved father, sisters Elisabeth and Anna are on the verge of losing their family's entire life's work. A ruthless rival has long coveted the small, thriving bakery. Passionate baker Liesi's only chance: to prove her skills before the royal court and bake bread for the prince's upcoming wedding.

But her rival is doing everything he can to stop her. His close friend Jakob is tasked with winning Elisabeth's favor while simultaneously stealing the traditional family recipes. However, his own feelings get in the way, and he soon has to decide what he wants to fight for: a secure future or his passionately beating heart?
