Following the herring, female artists in public space, Villa Irmgard
- Heringsdorf
- Maxim-Gorki-Str. 13
- exhibition
Exhibition of photographic portraits of female artists who, in the context of the herring motif, tell stories of freedom and the female perspective in their creative space.
It is a story about female artists who often remain hidden behind their work—behind the painting, the graphic, the poster—and about their creative process, which expresses the contemporary idea of freedom. Photographer Andrzej Max Łazowski, together with the exhibition's protagonists, demonstrates their flexible approach to the proposed theme, interpreted through their own artistic sensibilities.
The same herring motif, in its diverse forms of expression, becomes the starting point for a German-Polish cultural dialogue. Behind every image is a woman. Behind every form is a voice and a story.
