Johannes Kirchberg Erich Kästner sings and recites "Time Has Never Been as Big as Today" in a program accompanying his latest CD. If you're looking for one of the best Kästner interpreters, you'll inevitably come across Kirchberg. Hardly anyone else can set the text to music and interpret it as faithfully as he can. After four different Erich Kästner programs, Kirchberg has dedicated a new CD to his favorite author for his 125th birthday.

Musical settings that still resonate and serve Kästner's words. And texts that are relevant to our times, and which, unfortunately, are once again, or perhaps still, pertinent.
