A play about Elise and Heinrich Crola, an early romantic artist couple. Elise Crola comes from one of the most influential Jewish Berlin banking families of her time. In 
She grew up in the immediate vicinity with Felix and Fanny Mendelssohn Bartholdy. Georg Heinrich Crola comes from a humble background. Despite an eye problem, he managed to become a student of Caspar David Friedrich and assert himself as a landscape painter. Kristin Giertler and Thomas Kornmann give these two almost forgotten artistic personalities their own voice beyond their artistic work. Let them do that
